These delightful Crescent Pumpkins are filled with a creamy pumpkin pie filling and make the perfect festive treat for Halloween or Thanksgiving.

2 tbsp brown sugar
1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough (8-count)
4 oz cream cheese
softened
1/2 cup canned pumpkin purée
1 egg (for egg wash)
Orange food coloring (optional)
Pretzel sticks or green candy (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, pumpkin purée, brown sugar, pumpkin pie spice, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
- Place about a tablespoon of the cream cheese mixture at the wide end of each triangle.
- Roll up the triangles and shape them into pumpkin-like forms. Use your fingers to pinch and create a stem at the top.
- If desired, add orange food coloring to the egg wash, and brush it over each pumpkin roll.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let them cool slightly, then insert pretzel sticks or green candy at the top for decoration.
Notes
For a healthier twist, reduce the amount of brown sugar or use a sugar substitute. Customize the filling by adding chocolate chips or nuts if desired.
