3/4 cup sugar

2 large eggs
1 can (12 fl oz) evaporated milk
1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a large bowl, mix together the pumpkin puree, sugar, salt, ground cinnamon, ground ginger, and ground cloves.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Slowly stir in the evaporated milk until well combined.
- Pour the pumpkin filling into the unbaked pie shell.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes, then reduce the temperature to 350°F (175°C) and continue baking for an additional 30 minutes, or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let the pie cool for at least 2 hours before serving.
